So today yesterday I went to nursing orientation. There was this women that was pregnant that kept rubbing the incredibly strong scented lotion into her hands every 15 minutes. This was a 3 hour long orientation. I sneezed so many times during orientation. I wonder if people realize when they are putting on heavily scented perfumes and lotions that others around them in a room might be bothered by it. There were 50 seats for 50 people. I wish I could have moved, but I couldn't. I wonder if I could have told them to stop, stating I have allergies? This is really irritating. I wonder when I am a nurse if I should take like allergy medication every day just in case? I wonder if people might think I am sick, if I continue to sneeze around them. Also what if I sneeze while drawing blood or giving a shot. It would be terrible. I should get this sorted out. Maybe I'll ask my doctor, before I attend clinicals what he thinks.
Normally I have seasonal allergies, that I get shots for. However getting shots for peoples random fucking perfumes would be a little much.
