Winter 2012 Anime Season

Well I was underwhelmed in general.

1.  Kuroko no Basket, I really enjoyed the manga, and this could be it's biggest downfall.  I found the manga funny and the punch lines in the anime just do not come across well.  Kagami's voice still has not grown on me and neither has Kuroko's voice actor.  It just was not how I pictured they would sound like in my head in any way.

Overall I find the animation kind of lame and was hoping for more.

2.  Area no Kishi, I am actually enjoying the actual soccer playing parts.  I find the chick annoying.  I find the overall worrying of Kakeru in general annoying from all different fronts.  I feel like he might be a little stupid and clueless but it is getting to be uncute.

3.  Zetman so in general I thought this anime was going to be bad, but I gave the first episode a try that I watched all the way up to 9 and I know there are 13 episodes out now, I just have no energy to watch anymore and I am unsure why.  To be honest I really hate the character design and overall animation.  The story is awesome and the voice actors are awesome.  That is why I liked it, but overall I feel like the animation is a huge hurdle for me since I enjoy looking at nice things or decent looking characters.  While the main character and when he turns into Zetman is fricking epic as hell I just feel that the other characters are ugly the women are ugly the blonde guy is so annoying I want to choke hold him through the screen and just delete him and even his super hero look.

4.  Tsuritama, for me this was one of the best of the season.  However I feel like it has slowed down for me past two episodes.  I can only say that I THOUGHT there would be more EPICNESS than there is.  Well lets see tommorw because the epicness might happen then.  I love the whole cast and the bright coloring of the whole anime, the different looking background animation, and the general feeling of light heartedness.

5.  Hyouka, okay so I ripped on this show so much.  In fact I only kept watching because it looked so great and gritted my teeth every time Chitanda came on.  I like the other girl but Chitanda is like so annoying I almost can not stand it.  I felt like this anime was boring, boring, boring, so boring I thought my brain was going to melt.  In fact it is still boring however it was interesting to find out what hyouka ment.  I still do not get the point of this anime but I feel like it is kind of a "slice of life" animes that do not have any real direction that lacks comedic bits to keep it going, that tries to be interesting and witty.  I am watching it, I hope we get to see Oreki's sister who seems to actually be the most interesting character in the whole series.

6.  Sankarea-  All I have to say is this anime is ridiclous is this really for kids in japan.  It is in a shounen magazine right.  Well whatever it is decent.  I still do not get his hair does he have cat ears>>>> or not.  Well  I kind of want her to go around biting peoples heads off soon, that would be awesome.  I am getting bored and hope it is not longer that 12-13 episodes.

7.  Accel World, well it's an okay anime.  Nothing great, but it is cool to think of the future with holographic computers that are that portable.  I am not buying the chick falling in love with the guy who goes up to her pelvic region however maybe he eats the carpet well.

8. Nazo no Kanojo- I really liked this at first until yuri overtones came in and than I got bored.  Bored of the fanservice.  I was kind of hoping she would say she was an alien and be the magical girl type of character.

9.  Jormungund is the only one worth watching.
